Damian Corney is an Australian designer, TV presenter and brand ambassador based in Melbourne. For over 20 years he has built a reputation for a distinctive eye — equally at home designing & specifying wallpapers and interiors for high end brands, styling walls on The Block, or presenting for automotive brands.
Founder of Grafico Group a household name — spanning wallpaper, signage and automotive wraps — Damian brings the rigour of a design practice and the polish of a media presenter to every collaboration. He studied BA of Design at Monash, trained in Italy (and speaks fluent Italian), and is known for an obsession with colour, texture and materials that carries across both interiors and cars.
Recent credits include 10+ seasons on The Block. Grand Designs, Open Homes Australia and brand ambassadorships with Italian fashion brand Altea Milano + automotive brands MG, MotorOne and Farizon.
When he’s not on site or on camera, he’s in his Melbourne studio — usually with a classic car somewhere nearby and his standard poodle Bruno by his side.
From garage start up and university project, come household brand, Grafico was formed in 2004, evolving into a comprehensive design-and-print studio based in North Melbourne, Victoria servicing Australia wide.
The company received the prestigious Lord Mayor’s Small Business of the Year award in 2022, recognised for its innovation, creative marketing, and sustainability.
Under his direction, Grafico has executed major projects for high-profile clients including Louis Vuitton, Dutton Automotive, various hotel groups and Australian football clubs such as Essendon FC to name a few. Grafico’s popular online store ships their designs worldwide.
People keep saying being on TV has given me a big head… honestly, I have no idea what they’re talking about ! 😏🏈
A larger-than-life wrap for these giant 49ers and Rams helmets ahead of the NFL game hosted in Melbourne. NFL fever has certainly hit Melbourne this week!!
Back at The Block this week to share a little wallpaper wisdom. Will this week bring some colour, bucking the beige aesthetic that’s been so strong this year?! 🤔
I’ve arrived armed with plenty of inspiration… fingers crossed! 🤞🧡 #staytuned #theblock #theblock2026
Would you believe this isn’t real fluted glass? 👀
I transformed our clear shower screen using @grafico_walls fluted glass film, adding texture and privacy without replacing a single pane of glass.
The film for this shower came to $275 + delivery, making it a surprisingly achievable bathroom upgrade. And yes, I installed it myself! 😉
👉Available from selected @bunnings stores and grafico.com.au.
Would you try this in your bathroom?

A pretty special night for Grafico. 🏆🏆🏆🏆
We’re incredibly proud to have taken home 4 awards at the Australian Sign & Graphics Awards in Sydney.
It’s always rewarding to have our work recognised by our industry, but these awards really belong to the entire Grafico team, from design and production through to installation, and everyone behind the scenes who brings these projects to life.
Four trips to the stage. Four awards. One very proud team. 🧡
A huge thank you to our clients for trusting us with the ideas, spaces and brands that allow us to keep pushing what we do.
👏 to MC @itsdaveoneil for keeping the event fun and entertaining too! 👏

From clear glass to fluted in an afternoon 👀
I’ve been wanting to add a little more privacy & interest to this shower without losing the natural light — so I gave it a makeover using @grafico_walls Fluted Glass Film.
No replacing glass. No major renovation. Just a seriously satisfying before & after.
The entire shower cost me just over $300 to transform, and I love how much more architectural (and expensive!) it now looks.
And yes… I installed it myself. 🙌
Available online at Grafico + now rolling out to @bunnings stores around Australia 🧡

Even the hardest-working member of the Grafico team needs a quick recharge. ⚡️
We dropped into @lorbekluxurycars to plug our Farizon EV Van into their very cool @getelectricau chargers—just enough time to browse a few potential 🚘 upgrades before getting back to work. 👀🧡
I can’t show you all of The Block rooms quite yet…but in the meantime I’ve put on my best beige suit (to match this year’s aesthetic) 😉- and this time we’re in House 3’s stunning primary suite. 👀

Are you vibing 2026’s Block rooms so far? 😃 ⬇️⬇️

This year’s Block brief was “Quiet Luxury” — so when I went back on site to do some filming this week, who better to dress me than the quiet luxury masters @alteaaustralia 🤌🏼 The perfect place to get your Spring outfits ready. 💐 🐎
Quiet luxury… with a hi-vis twist. 👷🏼♂️ Stay tuned for these amazing home tours later this year 😉
A little time playing dress-up with Altea Milano.

Throwback to where it all began! 📺✨
Back in 2014, we made our very first appearance on The Block, and what a journey it’s been since.
We’ve been lucky enough to feature in each season since then, and this year marks our 12th season on the show! We’re incredibly proud to have played a part in so many amazing transformations over the years.
Here’s a look back at our very first episode… who remembers this one? 👀
Season 8, 2014 saw all stars Alisa & Lysandra, Brad & Dale alongside new contestants Chantelle & Steve + Kyal & Kara battle it out completing an awesome looking series of large apartments in Albert Park.
Fun fact 💡 We filmed this ‘challenge’ episode BEFORE we actually did any wallpapers inside The Block houses, this challenge sparked the contestants love for wallpaper and after completing a large mural for Chantelle and Steve the same year the rest is history and Grafico wallpaper has been bringing life, colour and texture to walls on The Block ever since.
You might not have seen us on this new series yet, but stay tuned! 🤫 🤐

I really wasn’t expecting this little green chest to resonate with so many people. 💚
Since sharing its story, tens of thousands of people have seen it, hundreds have shared it, and so many of you have left comments, memories and stories of your own.
Reading through them, something became very clear: these chests or “Baule” in Italian, are much more than old pieces of luggage.
For so many European migrants who came to Australia, for a new beginning, a chest like this carried their entire life.
In that sense, these old migrant chests have become symbols of European migration to Australia, of leaving home, crossing oceans, starting again and building a new life in a strange foreign land.
Perhaps that’s why this particular story resonated with so many. It may be my grandparent’s story, but judging by your comments, there are thousands of families with a chest like it (I’ve since learnt mainly in green, burgundy and blue!) and a remarkably similar story.
Thank you to everyone who commented, shared the post, or told me about the chest in your own family. I’ve loved reading your stories.
What began as a post about my Nonnas old green chest has become something much bigger: a reminder of the objects that carried our families histories with them.
Thank you for sharing yours with me. 💚
Now… where to next for this chest? 🤔

POV: your garage gets DIY aesthetic lighting. ✨🚗
I turned my garage into a moody showroom in just a few hours over the weekend... for under $500.
No electrician. No complicated install. Just the @akari_anz Ambient Silicone LED Lighting Kit from @bunnings
💡 Comment “LIGHTS” and I’ll DM you the exact products I used. Or grab them from your local Bunnings. 😉

More than 70 years ago, this green chest carried everything my grandparents owned as they made the journey from Italy to Australia.
The address painted on the lid reads Arden Street, North Melbourne, the home of friends who had arrived before them and gave them their first place to land in a new country.
Today, I brought the chest back to that very same address.
Standing there, it struck me how much has changed. In the 1950s, this chest would have arrived by ship and been delivered by truck or horse-drawn cart. Today, it arrived in the back of a Chinese-made electric van.
The biggest twist? That address is now only a few blocks from Grafico, the business I built.
A weathered old trunk. The same front door. Seven decades between deliveries.
It’s a reminder that every business, every family, and every opportunity starts with someone willing to take a leap into the unknown.
I’m grateful they did. ❤️🇮🇹🇦🇺
